Charles N. FordCharles N. Ford is Emeritus Professor of Surgery in the Division of Otolaryngology, Department of Surgery and former Chair at the University of Wisconsin, USA. His area of expertise is laryngology and voice disorders. His research program evolved through the introduction of bioimplants for vocal fold restoration. That initial work with collagen injections stimulated widespread interest in bioimplantable materials for vocal fold injection leading to the use of natural soft tissue injectables, extracellular matrix components and acellul ar matrices. He edited the first textbook on Phonosurgery published in the USA National leadership positions include Past-president of the American Broncho-Esophagological Association and the Society of University Otolaryngologists -Head and Neck Surgeons. He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Brazilian Journal of Otorhinolaryngology, Laryngoscope, Journal of Voice, ENT Journal, and Microsurgery.

Cunningham, M.D. is Otolaryngologist-in-Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement at the Children’s Hospital Boston, and Professor of Otology and Laryngology at the Harvard Medical School. His principal academic focus is graduate medical education, serving previously as Director of the Harvard Residency Program in Otolaryngology, and currently as a member of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education committee responsible for overseeing otolaryngology residency and fellowship training. His clinical interests include congenital head and neck masses, vascular tumors and malformations, and pediatric sinus disease.

Simonas Grybauskas graduated from Kaunas University of Medicine and acquired his Dental degree in 2000. In Vilnius University he completed his training in oral surgery (2003) and maxillofacial surgery (2006). In 2008 he acquired his Medical degree and became a double qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Simonas Grybauskas passed the exams and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as of 2005. In 2009 he acquired PhD degree awarded by Riga Stradins University (Latvia). Present positions of Simonas Grybauskas are Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Vilnius University and Vilnius Implantology Center. Simonas has published three scientific articles and has delivered more than fourty lectures on orthognathic and reconstructive surgery in international conferences and courses. Dr.Grybauskas is a member of Lithuanian Association of Maxillofacial Surgery as of 2002, a member of Baltic Association of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery since 2003 and a member of European Association for Cranio–Maxillofacial Surgery starting from 2005. Simonas hosted and directed the 1st Baltic Sea Conference in Orthodontics and Orthognathic Surgery in Vilnius in 2009.
Simonas Grybauskas devotes most of his time to orthognathic and reconstructive surgery, maxillofacial traumatology and implantology. Differences in facial morphology among populations and their influence on planning of facial surgery is the scope of his scientific work.
